Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Please read these terms before you register. They apply to every Math Empowered cohort, whether you pay by card or ask us to invoice your district.
Registrations are non-refundable
Cohort registration fees are non-refundable. Once a seat is reserved, the cost stands whether the seat is used or not, and that includes seats reserved with a district invoice.
Another teacher may take the seat
If a registered teacher needs to back out of the cohort, another teacher may take that seat at no extra cost. Email us the name, school, grade levels, and email address of the substitute and we will move the seat and the materials access over. Substitutions can be made at any point in the cohort year.
No discounts for missed sessions
The cohort price covers the full year of sessions, materials, and support. We do not offer partial credits, prorated pricing, or discounts for sessions, coaching days, or other opportunities a participant is unable to attend.
Dates we have to change
If Math Empowered must change a date because of weather or an emergency, that session is offered again in a similar structure on another day. Participants receive the new date with at least one week of notice. Changing a date on our end does not change the cost of the cohort and does not create a refund.
District invoices
Teachers who choose to have their district invoiced do not pay anything at the time of registration and do not enter any payment information. We send the invoice to the billing contact provided during registration. All invoices must be paid by May 31, 2027, at the culmination of the cohort. A seat held on an unpaid invoice is still a non-refundable registration.
